He has conducted several courses in Geomatics, and organized several national and international workshops and implemented GIS related projects. He had worked in many multi national projects including GIS automation of City of Sacramento, California and Flur Karten automation of German Cadestral documents. Currently he is working as Chief Technology Officer in Indian Institute of Information Technology & Management-Kerala, Technopark, Kerala India (www.iiitmk.ac.in), a premier institute set up by Govt. Of Kerala focusing on Academics and Research in the fields of IT and Management. Mr.Radhakrishnan has spearheaded several GIS implementations in various Departments and Research organizations in the State. He is also working for the popularization of free and open source Geospatial tools through workshops and training programs. He conceived and implemented Kerala's first Open Source based Web GIS portal on public domain (www.edugrid.ac.in/webgis) . He has also guided several academic projects in the area of Web GIS. He has presented papers in several seminars\symposia. His technical software and develpoment competency platforms include GRASS, ILWIS Open, Quantum GIS, PostGIS, Mapserver, OGC Specifications, etc.
